Disconnect

Hi team,

I just want to know, how would I know if there's a bank that has been disconnected and what does the image below means? Is that disconnected?

Thank you

Disconnect

The error you received doesn't mean your bank account was disconnected from online banking, Zala98-0. I'll be sharing some troubleshooting steps, including how you can identify when your account gets disconnected.

In QuickBooks Online, the error implies that the system can't pull up the entries from your bank as it can't process the request due to an existing issue with the connection. You can visit your bank's website to check for messages, notifications, or alerts about ongoing maintenance or updates.

If everything looks good, return to QuickBooks and manually refresh your bank connection. Here's how:

  1. Select Transactions on the left pane.
  2. Choose Bank Transactions and click the Update button.

If the issue persists, ensure to access your company using a different supported browser. This helps prevent any troubles when navigating the software to maximize your experience.

On the other hand, bank or credit card accounts connected to online banking will have a Connection arrow icon in your Chart of accounts. If it's unlinked, the icon will be gone. Here's what it looks like:

Moreover, categorize your income and expenses for accurate reporting and tax calculation. For those that are already in your book, match them instead to prevent duplicates.
