Discover Card Express Web in QB desktop

Since August 23, 2023 the discover transaction download has stopped for one of my clients and does not download all the transactions for my own account.

We did do all the steps to switch to express web and and on my clients acct it says Discover is connected but no transactions download and it continues to say that the last update was 3 months ago.

On my own acct it connects and downloads but misses about a third of the transactions each time

Any suggestions would be appreciated

Discover Card Express Web in QB desktop

I understand how important it is to download your transactions into your QuickBooks Desktop. Rest assured, I'm here to help you resolve that issue.

 

First, we'll have to disconnect and reconnect your bank account.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to Chart of Accounts, then pick the Include Inactive checkbox.
  2. Turn off, then set up online banking for each of the accounts.

 

After that, you'll need to verify and rebuild your company data file in QuickBooks Desktop to ensure your data is not damaged and everything will work perfectly fine.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to Window, then click Close All.
  2. Go to File, then select Utilities.
  3. Select Verify Data. If you see: 
    • QuickBooks detected no problems with your data - your data is clean.
    • An error message - look for it on our QuickBooks Desktop support site for how to fix it.
    • Your data has lost integrity - Your data is damaged and needs to be rebuilt.
