Due to my existing banking account for Quickbooks online payments being compromised, how and where do I change my routing and new bank account number?

Hi, randle. I know a way to change the deposit bank account for QuickBooks Payments. Let's work together to achieve this.

In QuickBooks, customer payments can be deposited into any standard US-based business or personal checking or savings account. If the info is updated after 3 PM PT, we'll deposit your payments to the new account the next business day. Otherwise, we'll put them in the old one.

For a standard deposit account, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online in a web browser. You can't change the details from the mobile app or GoPayment.
  2. Go to the Gear icon and then Account and settings.

  3. Choose the Payments tab. In the Deposits section next to Standard Deposits, click Change bank.

  4. Select Add new bank account.
  5. Enter the bank account and routing number you want to change to, then hit Save.
  6. Find the new bank account from the list and Verify.
  7. Add the two small amounts we have deposited to the new bank account.
  8. Review the bank account info and complete your request.

For an instant deposit account, please see the instructions below:

  1. From Account and settings, select Payments and go to Deposit accounts.

  2. Click Change to edit your instant deposit info.
  3. Hit Save and then Done.

Once done, QuickBooks will put customer payments from online invoices and other sources into the new account.

Additionally, I've added an article that'll help you change your addresses, bank account, and other business info for QuickBooks Payments to keep your account up to date: Update business and account info for QuickBooks Payments.

This thread's always open, so feel free to add other concerns you might have about your customer transactions or managing payments. My team and I will chime in again to assist.
