email from intuit

Received email from Intuit that said the following

"This email is to inform you of the following changes to your employee(s) direct deposit bank account selections:" Then it listed multiple old employees and the last four of their bank account numbers. I did not authorize any changes and I don't know why this happened and Intuit doesn't know either.  Are there any suggestions?

Thanks for reaching out to us here, JenniferJenn611.

When there are changes made on the account, you can run the Audit Trail report to review them.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. Hover on Accountant & Taxes
  3. Select Audit Trail.

To filter the report, this article can help you out: Customize reports in QuickBooks Desktop.

If you're unable to see any records, I recommend reaching out to our Payroll Support Team. They can pull up your account and review the changes on your employees direct deposit.

Please take note that our support hours for QuickBooks Desktop Basic, Enhanced, or Standard Payroll, starts from M-F 6 AM to 6 PM PT. For the Assisted Payroll version, we're available any time, any day.
