Error message uploading CSV file

Hi,

I am having problems uploading a CSV file for Paypal into QBO.  I have completed the task many times, so not sure what to do.  The error message I receive is to make sure the file is a CSV.

I have confirmed it is a csv file and have even used the csv-utf8 and neither will work.  I have used google incognito window and I receive the same message.

Any ideas on how to fix the situation?

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Vicki

Error message uploading CSV file

Hi there, @ATOZOOK.

I can help you with uploading your PayPal transactions to QuickBooks Online.

Yes, you need to use a supported file (CSV) to upload your transactions. If you're getting errors, I recommend reviewing the format of your file. When CSV file you can either use the 3 or 4 column format. For your guide, I recommend checking out this link: Format CSV files in Excel to get bank transactions into QuickBooks.

I'm also adding this screenshot for your visual reference.

Moreover, here's an article you can read more about manually uploading transactions into QuickBooks Online.

Once your PayPal data are now available in QuickBooks, you can open this article on how to review and categorize them.

If you have any other banking questions, please let me know by adding a comment below. I'm always here to help. Have a good one!

Thank you for your solution.  I found that my computer was not saving the CSV file after I changed the date to the proper format, made sure there was only 3 or 4 columns etc.  In order for me to upload, I had to import a text file into excel, save it as csv, and had no problems uploading.  This is so weird, because last month, I didn't have this problem.  Oh well, I have it working now.  Thank you again for your help.
