Ever since the UI upgrade took place I am not seeing my bank transactions. I can tell it is still syncing as it pulls across the balance correctly. Any thoughts?

I can help you find these missing transactions, @bob-lewis.

Can you tell us more about the bank that you're having trouble with? That'll help us check to see if there's an ongoing issue with it.

Try to perform a manual update to get the latest available transactions from your online banking account. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Banking or Transactions tab and go to the Banking menu.
  2. Select the bank account.
  3. Click on the Update button.

This updates your bank and credit card transactions. If you see a message about additional authentication, follow the onscreen instructions.

Here's more information on what to do if you get a bank error or can't download transactions in QuickBooks Online.

After pulling up new transactions you can now categorize and match online bank transactions in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.

If there's anything else I can help you with your bank connection, please let me know in the reply section. I'll be always around ready to help.  I'll be always around ready to help.

The bank is CapitalOne.  I understand how to do a manual update, that isn't the problem.  I came across another coversation on this topic INV-54258

Thank you for getting back to us and providing us more details about the concern that you're having with your bank transactions, @bob-lewis.

That INV-54258 is an investigation about Capital One bank account. There are no new transactions are downloading for that bank while new updates show as successful. However, that is already tagged as closed and resolved. Since you're still having an error, then I suggest reaching out to our Customer Support team.

Their tools can further check your account and isolate why you're still having this error in a safe and secure environment and help you resolve it.

You can reach our Customer Support for QuickBooks Online (QBO) by going to the Help icon at the top right of the account. Follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Help icon to connect to a live support agent.
  2. Provide us with some information about your concern.
  3. Select the Contact Us button and provide some details about this concern, then on the Let's talk button.
  4. You'll now be provided options on how to connect to our Customer Support.

Here's the contact the QuickBooks Online Customer Support team article for more information.

In the meantime, you can add those missing transactions through the WebConnect process. You’ll have to manually download the transactions from the bank. Then, upload the file to your account. Check this article for more information: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online. From here, you can now categorize  and then reconcile the transactions.

Let me know if you still have questions about your bank connection in the reply section below. I’m more than happy to help. Have a good one!
