My expensify is connected to Qbo and i have 2 accounts created. expensify liability account and expensify clearing account. Transactions go to the liability account but few go directly to the bank account bank feed. Why is it so? How do I reconcile these accounts?
Hello there, andiie46. I'm here to assist you in managing your transactions.
When it comes to third-party apps, QuickBooks Online (QBO) doesn't control how transactions are imported. We only receive and record the data on the system.
For the data to sync accordingly to QBO, I'd suggest reaching out to your third-party provider. They can review the connection setup and help you get back on track.
And when it comes to reconciling your account, could you provide more details on what you mean when the transactions go to the liability account while others go directly to the bank account on the bank feeds? This will help me provide you with the right resolution.
For best practices when reconciling your account, you can visit this article: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.

Most transactions from expensify posted to the liability account but few go directly to the bank account bank feed in QBO. Why does the transactions go directly to the bank feed?
Hello, @andie46. I have another way to help you figure out why transactions go directly to the bank feeds.
QuickBooks Online (QBO) is an accounting software and it doesn't have control over how transactions are imported from third-party apps. You can check if there are transactions that need to be posted directly to the liability account by accessing your Expensify account settings. Moreover, to further check what's causing the transactions to go directly to the bank feed in QBO, I'd recommend reaching out to Expensify support.
Additionally, to learn more how to categorize uploaded transactions efficiently in QBO, check out this article: Categorize online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.
If you have further questions about managing imported transactions in QBO or any other concerns within the program, please let us know by replying in this thread. Our team is always happy to help. Have a good one.
