Has anyone been able to import trips from MileIQ for 2021? It appears there is a formatting issue since the last update to the QBSE mileage section of the website.

I received the following import error: "Te.headers.forEach is not a function. Correct it and try again."

Thanks for reaching out to us, lukedebruin.

We have an ongoing investigation about importing mileage from MileIQ to QuickBooks Self-Employed. Our engineering team already working on fixing it. I suggest reaching out to our QuickBooks Self-Employed support to add you to the list of affected users. This way, you'll receive an email once the problem has been fixed.

Here's how:

  1. Click Assitant from the top bar.
  2. Type Talk to a human.
  3. Select your preferred method: Message an agent or Get a callback.

You can visit this resource to see the best time to reach them as well as their contact number: Contact QuickBooks Self-Employed Support.

In the meantime, you may consider adding your trip manually. Check out this article for a complete guide: Manually track mileage in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

In addition. I've added the following materials below to help you manage your transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed:

Don't hesitate to reply if you need further assistance managing your trips. I'll be here to help you.

Thank you for your quick reply.  As you can imagine adding hundreds of trips manually so that I can file my taxes is not efficient at all. I think I will have to skip this and do it on the Intuit side if this cant be resolved to be done automatically pretty much immediately. Found out from support that I will have to wait for this to be resolved as I can't just add my mileage to my Schedule C once I export from QBs to TurboTax. It is definitely frustrating to find a task that takes that normally takes less than a minute is not working during tax time :(

Nice to have you joined this thread, @joedrum.

I've checked here on my end and found out the investigation is still in progress. Rest assured our engineering team is working diligently for a permanent fix.

In the meantime, I recommend contacting our support team. This way, you'll be added to the list of affected users and be notified via email of any updates. You can refer to the steps shared by my colleague Giovann_G above in reaching out to them.

Furthermore, I'm adding this article that can guide you on how to import transactions to your account: Add older transactions to QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).

Please bear with us as we're working to fix this. If you have any other concerns about mileage and QBSE, please let me know in your reply. I'll be more than happy to help. Stay safe!
