Hello! I connected my account to QuickBooks but it’s only showing as far back as May! How do I include the rest of the beginning of the year?

I'm here to help put those bank transactions to QuickBooks Online (QBO), samantha-lovier.

You can upload older transactions to QuickBooks using a CSV file format. Simply download them from your bank and put them in QBO.

Here's how to manually import bank transactions:

  1. Go to the Banking menu, then proceed to the Banking tab.
  2. Click the Link account ▼ drop-down and then Upload from file.

  3. Choose select files and select the file you downloaded from your bank, then Continue.

  4. In the QuickBooks account ▼ drop-down, select the account you want to upload the transactions into, then Continue.

  5. Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks and the format, then Continue.

  6. Review and mark those transactions you would like to import, then Continue.
  7. Once completed, click Done.

Now that your transactions are in QuickBooks, it's time to match and categorize them.

To ensure your books have accurate records and match with what's in your bank, you can reconcile your accounts.

Stay in touch with me if there's anything else I can help manage your bank transactions. I'm always around to provide steps and articles.
