We can review the Audit log to track the changes made to your account. To check what entries were changed that triggered the date back to the year 2006. I'll show you how.
- Go to the Gear icon and select Audit Log.
- Click Filter.
- Use the fields on the Filter panel to choose the appropriate User, Date, or Events filter to narrow the results.
- Then, select Apply.

Furthermore, we can restore your company file if you're using QuickBooks Online Advance and already have a backup. You can also undo unwanted changes to vendors, customers, settings, and other data if you need to.
Here's how:
- Go to the Gear icon and select Back up company.
- Choose the Restore menu, then select New Restore.
- From the Company dropdown, click the company you want to overwrite and restore accounting data.
- In the Restore to the dropdown menu, choose the time and date you want to restore.
- Make sure everything is correct, then select Create Restore.
- Enter the Company name, then select Restore
