Hello, usergeekless.

I'll give a bunch of solutions to help you fix the missing bank account from the Cash Flow section.

An outdated app can be the reason why your bank account isn't showing up under the Cash Flow section. Though, a simple data issue can also cause the bank account to disappear. Before we update it, let's reset your app's data:

  1. Go to the hamburger menu ☰.
  2. Select Help & Feedback
  3. Tap Refresh Data.

If it's still missing, you'll want to update the app to ensure all features and functions are running smoothly:

iOS devices:

  1. Open the App Store.
  2. Tap the Today tab, then select your profile.
  3. Under the Available updates section, search for the QuickBooks mobile app.
  4. Tap Update.

Android devices:

  1. Open the Google Play Store.
  2. Tap the hamburger icon ☰ on the home screen.
  3. Go to My apps & games.
  4. Under the Updates tab, look for the QuickBooks mobile app.
  5. Tap Update.

You can also uninstall and reinstall the app to fix the issue. The download links are found here: How to download the QuickBooks Online mobile app.

Hi, i have a bank account that’s pulling in transactions but not showing in my cash flow accounts. How do I fix that? I’m in the mobile app.

HI, I tried all that but it's not even showing as a cash flow account in QB on the web. Yet it's showing in my list of accounts and I'm able to review and categorize transactions.

When I try to connect the savings account to my bank  in QB it says it's already connected.

Hello @usergeekless,

Since your account still not showing when after following the suggestion shared by my colleague above, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care Support.

With their tools, one of our specialists can pull up the account we have on file and investigate further what is the root cause of this unexpected problem. To do so:

  1. Log in to QuickBooks Online in a web browser.
  2. Go to Help.
  3. Select Contact Us.
  4. Enter a few words describing your goal for today in the What can we help you with? field.
  5. Click Continue.
  6. Choose a channel where you want to connect with our online team.

On top of that, I've also included this reference helpful for the steps needed in balancing your checkbook and regularly reviewing your accounts in QuickBooks: Use this guide anytime you need help doing or fixing a reconciliation.

Don't hesitate to post again here if you have other questions or concerns with QuickBooks tasks and navigations. I'm always around happy to help. Stay safe and have a good one!

Hi, i have a bank account that’s pulling in transactions but not showing in my cash flow accounts. How do I fix that? I’m in the mobile app.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community, ITGUYfromNJ. Let me help you see the cash flow in your accounts.

I know a possible resolution to this concern. I suggest updating your bank manually. This way, you'll see if the cashflows together with the bank transaction, will now flow into your QuickBooks Online account.

Here's how:

  1. Open your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Go to the Transactions menu located at the left navigation panel and select Bank Transactions
  3. Click the Update option right beside the Link account dropdown.
  4. If prompted, enter your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) credentials and select Continue update. You must enter these credentials within 2 minutes of being prompted. Multi-factor authentication is any security precaution that requests more than a single username and password.
