Hello there, @fatherjohnllc. I'm here to help you transfer your data.

Are you trying to migrate your data from QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) to QuickBooks Online (QBO)? If so, you can follow these steps to move your data:

  1. Go to Settings ⚙, then from the Profile column, click Upgrade.
  2. Select Choose plan on the one that you prefer.
  3. Review the changes in features and click Sounds good.
  4. If you want to copy your data to QuickBooks Online, select Bring my data.
  5. Review the summary of data that you'll move to QuickBooks Online.
  6. Click Continue, then To QuickBooks Online!
  7. Double-check your payment method, then select Change plan. If you need to change your payment method, click  Edit.
  8. Answer or confirm ‌a few details about your business to start using QuickBooks Online.

Please remember that when you transition from QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) to QuickBooks Online (QBO), it is important to note that this is a one-way process. Once you complete the migration and switch to QBO, you won't have the option to revert to QBSE.To ensure the safety of your data and have a separate copy for reference, it is highly recommended that you create a backup of your data from QBSE before proceeding with the transition. Here's how you can download your data from QBSE:

  1. Go to Reports.
  2. From the Tax details section, select a tax year.
  3. Click Download.
  4. Download a report for each year you have in QuickBooks.
  5. Repeat these steps for your Profit and Loss, Mileage Log, and Receipts.

Everything you need to know is listed in this article: Switch from QuickBooks Self-Employed to QuickBooks Online

To help with the transition and get your company file started, you can check our walkthrough guide for QuickBooks Online.

I'm dedicated to ensuring a smooth transition for you, so don't hesitate to reach out if there's anything else I can do to help. Have a great day!

  5. Select the arrow icon and then the Print or Download.

Download your transactions

  1. Go to the Transactions menu.
  2. Use the TypeAccount, and Time period  dropdowns to sort the transactions.
  3. Select the Export icon. Note: Receipts aren't exported. You can download them from specific transactions. Or go to the Reports menu and download all of your receipts for specific tax years.

Hi i would like to activate my quickbook online account and transfer all my jnformations from “quickbook self employed “ is that possible?

I appreciate your prompt response and for sharing the screenshot, fatherjohnllc. I'd like to provide you with some information on how to activate your QuickBooks Online account and transfer data from QuickBooks Self-Employed.

If your QuickBooks Online account has been inactive for 365 days, you may encounter errors when using it. You cannot directly add another QBO account using the same credentials. Your options are to use a different email address or contact the Sales team for further assistance. They have the necessary tools to help you identify what's causing the issue.

You can also check this article for more information: How to resubscribe or reactivate QuickBooks Online.

Moreover, I've got you this helpful article with different QuickBooks videos that may help you handle and manage your data: Learn about QuickBooks Online with how-to videos.

If you need additional assistance with your account or QuickBooks, please notify me by adding a comment below. I'm more than happy to help. Keep safe.

Hi i would like to activate my quickbook online account and transfer all my jnformations from “quickbook self employed “ is that possible?

Hello.

I’m reaching out because I made a significant mistake with my own account and am hoping you might be able to help.

I had been using QuickBooks Self-Employed since February, but I recently migrated it to QuickBooks Simple Start under the impression it would be an upgrade.

Unfortunately, I discovered too late that the features in QBSS are quite different, and I can’t revert back to Self-Employed—especially since Intuit no longer offers this product to new customers.

After speaking with Intuit, they informed me that the only solution would be to locate an active or canceled Self-Employed account (one that hasn’t been migrated) and arrange with the owner to transfer it.

If you would consider selling your Self-Employed account, plese reply to this message with your contact information so we an discuss terms.

I’m willing to handle the transaction securely via Zoom, phone, or even a conference call with an Intuit representative to ensure transparency.

I would only need the current owner to delete their personal data and payment information, set up a temporary email and password, and then I’d confirm access before completing the payment right away.

Thank you very much for your time and for considering my request—I truly appreciate it and am grateful for any assistance.

Best regards,
Javier
