How can I connect my QuickBooks Online account to my new Flagstar Treasury Access Business account?

The Error 103 means the user ID or password is incorrect for the bank account you’re trying to connect.

 

Let me provide the steps on how to fix it:

 

Step 1: Confirm your sign-in info is correct

 

It’s always good to make sure you have the correct user ID and password for the bank account:

 

  1. Open a new window in your web browser and go directly to your bank’s website.
  2. Make a note of the web address (such as https://www.flagstar.com). This may come in handy later.
  3. Sign in with the user ID and password you have.
  4. If you have separate accounts with the bank (such as a business account and a personal account), sign in to the account you want to fix in QuickBooks.
  5. If you sign in successfully, then you can take note of the user ID and password.
  6. If you get a sign-in error, follow your bank’s instructions to get your user ID, reset your password, or both.

Step 2: Enter your bank sign-in info in QuickBooks

 

  1. From the left menu, select Banking.
  2. Select the bank or credit card account you need to update.
  3. Click Edit ✎, then Edit sign-in info.
  4. If your web browser auto-fills the user ID and password fields, clear them. This ensures your browser doesn’t put in old info by mistake.
  5. Manually type in the user ID and password for your bank account.
  6. If your bank offers a Show option, select it so you can confirm you entered the password correctly.
  7. Click Update.

How can I connect my QuickBooks Online account to my new Flagstar Treasury Access Business account?

I can login to banking site directly and my credentials work.  When I input the same credentials in quickbooks online they do not connect.  This seems to be an existing issue (per this and other threads here) when Flagstar Bank switched to a a treasury login with 3 separate login values.  

Please!  Has there been a fix for this specific issue?

Thanks for the information that you're able to successfully log in to your banking site. The steps provided by my colleague MaryLandT is used to fix banking error 103 in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

If the above steps didn't work for you, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Care Support for further investigation. They can take a closer look and identify the reason why the same credentials used when signing in to your bank website won't work in QBO.

  1. Go to the Help menu at the upper right.
  2. Select Contact Us.
  3. Enter your concern.
  4. Click Let’s talk.
  5. Choose Get a callback
  6. Type in your contact info.
  7. Select Confirm my call.
