How can I create a TXF file from QBO for import into TurboTax?

I have some information to share about creating a .txl file in QuickBooks Online and importing it to TurboTax.

Yes, Rustler is correct. At this time, we're unable to generate a .txf file in QuickBooks Online. The system only supports the following file types:

• Comma-Separated Values (.CSV) files.
• Quicken (QFX)
• QuickBooks Online (QBO)
• Microsoft Money (OFX) 

However, you have the option to export and convert your QuickBooks Online data to the QuickBooks Desktop version and import them to TurboTax afterward. 
 

This can be done by following these processes:

• Download and install the QuickBooks Desktop trial version for this process. Please see this article on how to do this: QuickBooks Desktop Trial Links.
• From your QuickBooks Online, export your data and save it on your computer. Steps can be found in this article: Export Data File From QuickBooks Online to Desktop.
• After that, open and restore your company file in QuickBooks Desktop. 
• In your QuickBooks Desktop, convert the file and import it to TurboTax. Kindly refer to the "To import QuickBooks data into TurboTax Home & Business," section in this article: How do I import QuickBooks data into TurboTax Business?
