I'll go over how to import data into QuickBooks Online. Also, to guarantee you're able to import employee reports from Gusto into QBO, let me direct you to the appropriate support team.
In QuickBooks Online, you can only move or import lists like suppliers, customers, inventory, and chart of accounts. In addition, you can import your opening balance from another program into QuickBooks. The ability to import employee reports from Gusto to QuickBooks through PDF is currently unavailable. Right now, I recommend contacting Gusto Support Team. They're capable of providing details if there's a way to directly import employee reports from their app to QuickBooks Online for payroll purposes.
You also have the option to visit the App center inside QBO. From there, you can review hundreds of apps to use or integrate

When I first got QBO and went to payroll, QBO brought up an option to import into gusto. I was on the phone with customer support at that time. They told me to click off and return later. I cannot see this option anymore. Was that a one-time window?
Glad to see you again, @matthew-perry-an.
I'm here to provide additional insights about importing payroll data from Gusto to QuickBooks Online.
Since Gusto is a third-party payroll service provider, the option to import payroll info to QBO is unavailable. Based on your scenario, it seems like you've had an active application that allowed you to import the data to QuickBooks.
Nevertheless, I'd still recommend checking out available apps by accessing the App center within QBO. You'll have several apps to choose from to integrate.
It's also best to get in touch with Gusto for any available options of direct importing to QBO.
