Right now, I recommend contacting Gusto Support Team. They're capable of providing details if there's a way to directly import employee reports from their app to QuickBooks Online for payroll purposes.
You also have the option to visit the App center inside QBO. From there, you can review hundreds of apps to use or integrate

When I first got QBO and went to payroll, QBO brought up an option to import into gusto. I was on the phone with customer support at that time. They told me to click off and return later. I cannot see this option anymore. Was that a one-time window?
Glad to see you again, @matthew-perry-an.
I'm here to provide additional insights about importing payroll data from Gusto to QuickBooks Online.
Since Gusto is a third-party payroll service provider, the option to import payroll info to QBO is unavailable. Based on your scenario, it seems like you've had an active application that allowed you to import the data to QuickBooks.
Nevertheless, I'd still recommend checking out available apps by accessing the App center within QBO. You'll have several apps to choose from to integrate.
It's also best to get in touch with Gusto for any available options of direct importing to QBO.
Feel free to check this out to know more on how to manage reports in QBO: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online.
