Thanks for dropping by the Community space, @cbezaire1. We can undo an entire reconciliation by inviting your accountant. This allows you to start fresh and correct any errors, though it doesn’t revert transactions that were manually reconciled.
Before proceeding, please review the opening, beginning, and ending balances of the reconciled account. If those figures are accurate, there’s no need to undo the reconciliation, as the issue may be tied to specific transactions causing the discrepancy.
Instead, let's manually remove the individual transaction from the reconciliation. Here's how:
- Navigate to the Gear icon, then Chart of Accounts.
- Find the account, then View register.
- Locate and select the transaction in question.
- In the Check column, click the box repeatedly until the status changes to blank
- Hit Save to confirm your changes.

Otherwise, I recommend reaching out to your accountant. They're equipped to handle these cases and have access to specialized tools in their QuickBooks Online Accountant account that let them Undo the entire reconciliation.
To enhance your experience with QuickBooks, our QuickBooks Live Expert Assisted team is available to offer guidance on resolving reconciliation discrepancies.
