Join nowThanks for posting in the Community, @dawnhitchcock I'd be delighted to show you how to add credit card finance charges while reconciling.
You can enter finance charges on the same screen that the ending balance and ending date are entered when beginning a reconcile. I've included a screenshot to serve as a visual reference:
If you're already in the middle of a reconcile, you can include the cc finance charges with the following steps:
The following is a brief video to serve as an example:
I often recommend the following resource for reconciling to people: Reconcile Hub. This resource contains multiple articles to assist with every step of the process, such as correcting a balance and finance charges.

As always, I'm just a few clicks away if you should have questions about reconciling a cc account or anything else. Cheering you to a great week ahead.
Hello,
My interface is different from your screenshot. There's no Finance Charges field in the reconciliation window. Maybe it's possible QBO made some changes after your post nearly a year ago. I have the Finance Charges appearing on my bank feed with Action to Add. However, I don't know which Vendor and Category to select. I don't want to post or record to the wrong account. Please advice.
Regards,
