Hello there. @usermartelaicajean.
There are two possible scenarios that I can think of based on your concern above. It's either you want to cancel your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) account or delete your data to start a clean slate.
If you want to cancel your QBSE subscription because it's no longer meeting the needs of your growing business, you can do this through the Billing Info page. Then, you'll have read-only access to your data for one year. However, before doing so, I'd recommend exporting and/or printing your files before you cancel for future use. Whenever you're ready, here's how:
- Sign in to QuickBooks Self-Employed in a web browser.
- Go to the Gear icon.
- Select Billing Info.
- Click Cancel subscription.
In case you bought your QBSE subscription through a mobile app store, you can refer to this article for the detailed steps: Cancel your QuickBooks Self-Employed subscription.
On the other hand, if you want to start a clean slate, you'll have to delete all your transactions to permanently remove them from your account. Please know that this process is irreversible. You can learn more about this by checking out this article: Deleting QBSE transactions. It also contains details about disconnecting accounts and deleting transactions.
In the meantime, I'm also adding this article to further guide you in managing your account: QuickBooks Help Articles. It includes topics about data and security and product features to name a few. You can click the + More topics button to expand your selections.
Please don't hesitate to let me know if you have other concerns or inquiries about managing your QBSE subscription. I'm just around to help. Take care always.
