Thanks for reaching out to us about this deposit concern, @jeremyhunt12-yah.
I want to help you resolve this but I have some questions about the problem. May I know if that deposit is processed through QuickBooks Payments? If not, may I know what type of entry is the transaction? I need this so I can check if there are reported issues about this concern.
If you're using QuickBooks Payments, please know that the posting of the funds may vary depending on the time of day the transactions were created. Also, the bank they are deposited matters with how long it takes for them to verify and process electronic deposits. See this link to learn more about the funds on hold: Why are my funds on hold?
Additionally, there are instances when payments are taking longer than usual because the might be on hold for verification. For new QuickBooks Payments users, the first few payments take a bit longer to process while we set everything up. Learn how long it takes to get customer payments into your bank account.
While this community does not handle account concerns, you will need to contact our Payments Support for help. They can trace the funds for you and explain what happened why it got delayed. To contact us, click the following link: Contact Payments Support
Please come back here for the additional information or if you have other questions with QuickBooks Payments. I'm here to help you further.
Jeremy,
I received this note from Sarahann C / moderator ( see below) and await a resolution. I think we have to scream louder to help QB get the message. There are still those of us who refuse to pay 3% per transaction and prefer paper checks. After all, QB now claims that this is a current feature of QB Checking.
