Hi there, sma! I'm here to provide the steps for viewing your undeposited funds transactions.
Beforehand, I'd like to know what QuickBooks product you're using. Is it QuickBooks Self-Employed or QuickBooks Online? It'll help me provide the accurate steps to achieve this.
If you're using the self-employed version, please note the Undeposited Funds account is unavailable in this program. We can go to the Transactions page instead to view the lists of entries added or downloaded in the program.
However, if you have the online version, we have two ways to view the undeposited transactions. We can use the Account register or run an Account QuickReport.
Follow these steps to see the list of transactions on the Account register page:
- Go to the Transactions menu and then select Chart of accounts.
- In the Filter by name or numb field, type in Undeposited Funds.
- Click View register.
- There, you can view the list of your undeposited transactions.
- You can click the Filter icon to customize the result.
If you want to run a report, I suggest performing the steps below:
- From the Transactions menu, select Chart of accounts.
- In the Filter by name or numb field, type in Undeposited Funds.
- Click the drop-down menu beside the View register button.
- Then, click Run report.
- Personalize the filters to generate the data you want to see.
Once you're ready to clear out the payments waiting to be deposited in your bank account, you can start making bank deposits so QuickBooks Online matches your real-life bank deposits.
For QuickBooks Self-Employed, you can browse this article to help you enter sales income and expenses in the program: Manually add transactions.
My team and I are always available to help you if you need assistance recording payments and depositing them in your bank. You can always get back in this thread or start a new one to let us know.
