How do I manually import a QBW file into QBO Self-Employed? I have it saved already using File>Utilities>Copy Company File for Quickbooks Online, but can't find where to import it into QBO Self-Employed.

Hi robardspottery-c,

Welcome and thank you for posting your concern about importing your data.

A QBW file is from QuickBooks Desktop and is not compatible with QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). Actually, you can't import the entire company file data from any programs into QBSE. You can only do this to bank transactions in a CSV file.

If there's anything you want to know in particular, feel free to comment below. We'll be happy to help you again.

@robardspottery-c

QBSE is stand alone product. Consider switching to QBO instead. You may have a workaround to pay it lower than the regular rate with additional effort if required.
