ReymondO, thank you for your assistance! Clearing cache files did not resolve the issue.
Upon further investigation I uncovered the simple (and a bit embarrassing) cause. The name of the file I attached to the transaction was too long, and it wrapped to the line underneath. This messed up the screen formatting just enough for the trash icon to get 'lost' behind the manage tags section. (There might actually be a application defect for controlling filename length.) As a workaround, I deleted the attached file in the mobile app, and re-attached using a shorter name.
Again, thank you for your assistance!
There are times that local internet cache files stored in the system can cause unexpected behavior in the product, @steve122.
The best thing that we can do is to perform some basic troubleshooting steps by following these procedures:
First, use a private window to access QuickBooks. This will prevent the use of cookies stored on the computer.
You can access this by pressing the following commands:
If it works, then let’s go back to your browser and clear the cache. These caches of data are essentially junk files and can be safely deleted to free up storage space.
If the same problem occurs, try using a different browser. This can be an issue with the browser that you use and QuickBooks.
Please let me know if you need anything else. I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
