How do I retrieve missing bank transactions for last year from linked accounts?

You can use MT Online or one of the converter tools (e.g csv2qbo @ $60 one time license) as a workaround.

How do I retrieve missing bank transactions for last year from linked accounts?

Welcome to the Community, ascott2478.

I'll share information about downloading bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

QuickBooks automatically downloads transactions when connected to online banking. Some banks will allow you to download 90 days of entries, while others can go as far as 24 months.

Since your last year's transactions are missing in the system, you would need to import them manually. The ability to automatically upload them in QuickBooks is currently unavailable.

To begin with, you can proceed to these steps to pick a start date to prevent duplicate entries:

  1. Head to the Gear icon, then select Chart of accounts.
  2. Locate the appropriate account for the transactions and click View register.
  3. Write down the date from your oldest transaction.

After that, scroll down to Steps 2 to in this article to get the transactions from your bank and complete the importing process: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

Moreover, you can refer to these resources for guidance on organizing your transactions and utilizing bank rules for efficiency:
