How do I Unlink my bank account

I'd be pleased to help keep the process of unlinking your bank account easy and simple, candiceramirez19.

You can unlink your bank account by disabling the Disconnect this account on save option. Please be reminded that once the account is disconnected, any transactions in the For Review tab will be deleted. I'd suggest categorizing them first before doing so.

Here's how to unlink the account:

1. Click Banking, and then choose the Banking sub-tab.
2. Select the account you want to unlink, and then click its Edit icon, then Edit account info.
3. In the Account window, disable the option for Disconnect this account on save.
   
4. Hit on Save and Close.

Thanks for joining the thread, @Anonymous. I'll share additional details about your concern and guide you through the process with unlinking bank account in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

The steps provided by my colleague above if for the Accountant view in your company file. Since you don't see the Banking menu from the left navigation bar, it's possible that you're in a Business view. If so, you can refer to the following steps below to unlink your bank account.
 

1. Go to the Bookkeeping menu in the left navigation bar.
2. Select Transactions.
3. From the Bank transactions tab, click on the dropdown arrow beside Checking and choose the bank account you'll want to unlink.
   
4. Click on the Edit icon.
   
5. Select Edit account info and tick the Disconnect this account on save checkbox.
   
6. Then click Save and close.
