How do you file a complaint against Intuit?It’s now February, I have been trying to have an issue from December resolved and nobody helps. They put me on hold for hours!

Allow me to share a few information about filing a complaint through our support team, dLearned.

 

Most likely, I would also feel the same if I were in your shoes. I know how you want to keep working with QuickBooks without experiencing glitches with the software. Usually, you'll get someone from our support team at random and to the next available representative. You'll want to contact support so you'll be able to get a callback. Here's how to reach them:

  1. Click the (?) Help icon and enter Talk to a human (then type it again when prompted).
  2. When asked by the bot, enter your concern.
  3. Select I still need a human, then proceed with Contact us or Get help from a human.
  4. Choose Callback.

In addition, I have already submitted a request for escalation on this issue. I'll provide you with an update as soon as we can get you a resolution. I've also added some articles that you can check for more information: Topics and Labels in QuickBooks Online.

Operational Support is NOT available at the hours you state. They are only open M-F, 10 - 9 Eastern. And IF they bother to send an email, it's at the end of Friday so the 48 hour SLA clock does not start until Monday morning. 

 

No one will escalate to a supervisor. I now have FIVE deposits on hold, all tied to the first one that started on August 24, 2021. QBO has held MY money for over 3 weeks and no resolution in sight.

 

I want to lodge a formal complaint with the company. Every CSR I've spoken to says "I'm so sorry" and "I've noted your complaint in this form." Unacceptable.

Don’t ever use QuickBooks intuit. Their support team does absolutely nothing and doesn’t know how to do their jobs. Clearly management is non existent. All I wanted was to be able to see my pay stub yet nobody knows how to do their job and figure out why I can do everything on my account EXCEPT what QuickBooks is supposed to be used for. I will be going on a search to try and find someone to contact to try and get this resolved. Somebody needs to shut this site down because it’s useless and really the people in customer support are as well

Intuit/Quickbooks charged my company 4 times for our state unemployment taxes, then we were told basically there is nothing they can do or will do to get the money back.  It's over $15,000!!

How do you reach anyone to file a complaint, or do you just have to blast them negatively on social media? FOR MONTHS I've been trying to get help just to LOGIN to my own account and view my paystubs. I've been locked out of my account for months and there's nothing anyone at Intuit can do to help me. I need my boss to continue sending me new invite links which then don't do anything. They say this is the only solution but they've failed to help me gain access into my OWN PERSONAL account for months. I'm furious. This is terrible technology, terribly outdated, and awful customer service.

They delayed the deposit of funds that I got from an investor to start my business saying I need to submit a phone bill and the invoice.  This wasn't an issue so I submitted it. Hoping they would clear the funds I needed, they delayed it again saying I need to submit the phone bill for my office number. I use a virtual address and a virtual number so I submitted the bill the company Davinici sends out each month with the number again. Hoping the funds would clear, they once again delayed it. They have taken every document they asked for and which I have sent numerous time and they keep changing their verbiage to withhold the funds. These guys are complete thieves and liars. It's been one entire month now of this illegal behavior. Over and over and over again I have been writing letters, responses, and dealing with customer service and yet they keep refusing to release it without proper understanding. I don't know why they even exist if they don't understand businesses themselves. Serving a customer they have no understanding of.

I am having the same issues!  They have 4 Credit Card transactions saying "withheld".  This is over $300k in charges!  It has been almost a month and my company cannot get their funds!  We have submitted everything asked for.  HOW can we get this resolved!

I'd recommend reaching out to our QuickBooks Online Support so they can help you investigate this further.  

 

Unlike in this public forum, they have the tools required to perform any escalations in the system whenever necessary on your behalf. Here's how to contact us: 

 

  1. Click the Help (?) icon. 
  2. Choose Contact Us
  3. Enter a  brief description of your situation in the What can we help you with? area, then click Let's talk
  4. You'll be presented with a few options for connecting with Intuit. Select Get a call

 

I want to make sure everything is taken care of for you, so please let me know how the call goes or if you need additional assistance. I'll be here to help. Have a good one.

We have tried that 3 weeks in a row.  On the computer or phone for at least an hour and a 1/2.

 

We should not have to wait for a month to get our money.

I am having the same issue QuickBooks has over $28,000 of my electronic deposits on hold I have been calling for 2 weeks no supervisors call me back no resolution to the problem. I'm now contacting my attorney and will be filing a lawsuit against QuickBooks. Their so-called customer service has the most abysmal useless thing I've ever experienced in my entire life. This has put my business and turmoil as $28,000 for a small business as a substantial sum of money.

Truly horrible customer service at Intuit. We have been loyal Intuit customers for almost a decade. However, because we are closing our corporation, we also have to close our Intuit account, of course. I spent 45 minutes, and still have been unable to get any assistance. I called and was disconnected twice. Then I tried chat and communicated with Carole, who was nice, but could not help me. Then I was connected with Rezza. That person could also not help me, and when I requested a supervisor, s/he (politely) disconnected me. So frustrating. Miserable customer care - and after all of these years with the company.

I've used QuickBooks Pro Desktop since 2008. Unfortunately, the main phone number associated with my account was a landline - no longer used. I need to change the bank account and primary email address, but I cannot receive a text message to this former landline. We've opened a ticket with QuickBooks over three weeks ago. All we're ever told is our issue is in process. Give me a break! This unresolved issue is causing major issues with my business. Such an easy issue to fix - or so it would seem. PLEASE - WE NEED HELP!

This is a complete lie, You CANNOT request a supervisor. The first line refuses to put your through to anyone higher up, even when the first person you talk to in another part of intuit transfers you and tells you to ask for a second tier service rep. I have been dealing with an issue since Dec. They said it would be expedited and worse case it would take 3-5 business days...may they meant weeks (sarcasm voice). This company has the absolute worst customer services and technical support services. No one, and I mean no one, knows what they are doing and when you ask for a high level of support they say no one is available and you will get a call back....guess what, no call back at all. I am on the boarder as to whether to cancel my account and move on. But right now they have my company file and I want it back fully restored. Then I will decide whether I continue my service.

quick books has quickly become the best example of what happens to a company when they rely on bots and chat rooms. Customer service is an abomination and getting to a human is the most feared outcome of any interaction with them. I basically pay $50 a month for a spread sheet and cloud storage. I looked into fresh books but I am not convinced they are the answer. I need to get away from quickbooks. It is killing my soul. Does anyone have a suggestion for a small construction company?

They told me it’s because everyone is remote. So what - figure it out!?!

I’ve spent dozens of hours on phone.

So far no money! And but I get a letter from the IRS saying I did not fill a 2021 And I gave you guys an extra $44 to get maximum refund and here it’s been almost a whole 29 days and still no money I got bills to pay G thanks a lot I never believe in you guys out again.

You are better off. How QB stays in business is beyond me!  They make the service at the DMV look efficient and helpful.

Have you gotten resolution. Intuit merchant services is holding $2000 of my clients money for no reason and I get the run around as well. I want to file a complaint but don't know how. Did you? Can you suggest what you did?
