When using a mobile app, it has limited access to some of its features. With that, the option to create a deposit in the app is unavailable.
The fast-paced transactions are prioritized, such as creating an expense and invoice. We made the entire navigation more convenient and efficient, where customers can easily find and select their desired options. We added the Shortcuts tab, which includes tiles for Invoices, Customers, Estimates, Sales Receipts, Expenses, Receipt Capture, Mileage, and Transactions.
We choose these options because it's what our customers usually use for their business. The good thing about using the mobile app is you can stay connected with the activity happening within your book anytime.
As an alternative way, I'd recommend using a browser when making a deposit in QuickBooks. You can use these supported browsers in the program:
- Google Chrome
- Mozilla Firefox. Note: To preview and print forms on Mac OS, you'll also need the Firefox PDF plugin.
- Microsoft Edge
- Safari 11 or newer (Mac only)
