How long do they review payments

They tell you it is "in review", but honestly, they HOLD it to collect interest off of it.

It could be a few days. It could be a few months.  Just depends on QB.

Feel free to use the Search bar at the top of any page here in the community, to find others that have had their money "in review"  (held).

Good luck.

How long do they review payments

Let me share how long QuickBooks reviews customer payments before we deposit to your bank, elisabethea.

If this is your first time using the QuickBooks Payments service, please note that it may take up to five business days as QuickBooks is setting up your account, and this process takes time for the initial deposit to go through. Once set up, QuickBooks will deposit customer payments much faster.

Also, it depends on your chosen payment method when you receive funds. Payments made through a credit card will be credited to your bank within two to three business days, while bank transfers may take up to five business days to process.

Additionally, we can check the status of your payment transactions within your Merchant Service Center account:

  1. Sign in to the Merchant Service Center.
  2. On the Acitivty & Reports section, select Transactions.
  3. Adjust the date range if necessary, then click Search.
  4. You can see the status in the Status column.

For more detailed info about customer payments, please refer to this article: Find out when QuickBooks Payments deposits customer payments into your bank account.

Moreover, you can use this article as a reference in recording invoice payments once you receive the funds: Record payments in QuickBooks.

I'll be around to lend a hand with any other queries about how long we review customer payments. Have a good one.
