Join nowHi there, @harrygriz.
Welcome to the Community. I'm here to answer all your concerns about importing and exporting files in QuickBooks Online.
First off, you'll need to use a trial version to convert your file since you're using an older version than 2018.
Ensure that your QuickBooks is up-to-date. Check also if your company file isn’t too big to export.
Once everything is ready, sign in as an admin to the company file you need to import. Then, follow these steps below to import .qbb file to QuickBooks Online (QBO):
4. Choose the QuickBooks Online company you want to be replaced in the Choose online company drop-down.
5. Click Continue, then enter “Agree” in the text field.
6. Select Replace, then click Yes, go ahead and replace the data, then select Replace.
Note also that only QuickBooks Online Plus and Advanced can track inventory. Both plans use the FIFO method.
For your Quicken data file, you'll need to export it and save in .csv format to successfully import it in QBO. Just in case, you'll want to contact Quicken support for help should you run into problems with converting your file.
For future reference, read through these articles to learn more about running your financial reports to review and ensure your imports are successful:
Feel free to message again if you need more help. We're always delighted to support you.
You may try restoring your QBB file on the trial license of QB Desktop to migrate to QB Online.
