Thank you for reaching out to the QuickBooks Community! I will be happy to help. Did you receive any error messages? If so could you share it with me below? In the meantime, you can manually upload your bank transactions to your QBO account as a workaround. To do this, download the entries from your bank's website in a CSV format. Then, import these transactions once ready. Please refer to the steps below when uploading these entries:
Once everything looks good, you can review and categorize your bank transactions to ensure they are assigned to the correct accounts.
I will be looking out to your response! See you in a few.

Hey there, @vraj-zylitix-ai.
Thanks for chiming back in on this thread. Let's work together to get rid of the 103 error message you're receiving when connecting your bank account.
Does you bank require you to turn-on a third party access option?
Some banks need your permission to connect your account to another service, including QuickBooks Online. While you visit your bank’s website, check if your bank has this requirement. If so, follow your bank’s instructions to turn it on, or contact your bank if you need help.
In the end, if the issue persists after checking, I recommend contacting our Customer Support Team for further assistance.
Feel free to reach back out and let us know how it goes. I'll be waiting for your response!
I have the same problem for 6 months now. Did either mercury or quickbooks solve this? Whose problem is this? My accounting is stalled this is insanity
ive the same problem for 6 months. did either mercury or qbo solve this? Its insane
This is not the experience we want you to have, Software. Let's tackle this issue step-by-step.
First, please verify your credentials by trying to sign in to your bank's website to ensure both your user ID and password are correct and double-check that the URL used is correct. Incorrect credentials or URLs are common causes of connectivity issues.
If your login is successful, your credentials are confirmed to be accurate. However, if you encounter a sign-in error, I recommend following your bank's procedures to retrieve your user ID, reset your password, or possibly both.
Additionally, some banks require explicit permission to connect your account to third-party services like QBO. Check if your bank has such a requirement. If this situation applies, please follow your bank's instructions or contact them for specific guidance.
If the issue persists after these steps, I suggest contacting our support team for additional assistance and investigating other possible solutions. They can dive deeper into the issue and assist you in resolving it. Here's how you can contact our support:

Additionally, if you need immediate access to your transactions to continue with your tasks, you can always manually upload them. Just keep in mind there might be some duplicates when the connection is restored, which can be easily managed. To do this, follow these steps:
Once your account is successfully linked, I recommend regularly categorizing your transactions to keep your records organized. This simple practice will help streamline your bookkeeping process, saving you time and effort in the future.

Tried different things, still cannot connect mercury, so qb is useless without connection. Please help
Try opening your QBO account on any private/incognito browser. If the same error persists, use csv2qbo converter tool as a workaround. It's a $60 one time license.

I can absolutely understand why you feel that way, especially when an important feature you rely on isn't working as expected, xyx6020.
Please note that QuickBooks bank connection errors are often caused by external factors that require bank intervention. This includes scheduled security updates, pending alerts (like unaccepted terms of service), or scheduled maintenance on the bank's side.
Because the bank is the source of the data, the essential first step is to contact Mercury's support team. Then, ask them specifically if there are any alerts on your account or known interruptions that might be blocking the connection to third-party services like QuickBooks.
If they confirm there isn't anything on their side, I suggest reaching out to our live support teams. A support agent can take a closer look at your account and investigate what's causing the error when connecting your Mercury account in QBO.
Here's how to reach out to them:
In the meantime, you can manually import the missing transactions so you can add and categorize them in QBO. Check out these articles for step-by-step guidance:
