Let's get your bank feeds syncing, matthewrief1-gma.

 

Browsers hold on to information that can cause latency issues. Clearing out the cache and cookies can get rid of multiple problems with old or even corrupt information in a browser.

 

To get this sorted, as an initial step, you can press the F5 key on your keyboard to refresh the page. If you're still getting the same result, we can do some of the basic troubleshooting steps by opening your account in a private browser. Here's how:

 

  • Google Chrome: Press CTRL + Shift + N.
  • Safari: Press Command + Shift + N.
  • Mozilla Firefox: Press CTRL + Shift + P.

 

Once signed in, go back to your banking page and manually update or sync your account from there. If it rectifies the issue, go back to your main portal and clear its cache to remove the browser's history or you can press CTRL+Shift and Delete key on your keyboard altogether. You may also try accessing your account using another supported browser.

 

If the issue persists, you can download transactions from your bank’s website into QuickBooks using our WebConnect feature.

 

Once imported, I recommend editing, assigning, and categorizing your transactions. Also, you can match them to the existing entries in the software. Just go to the For Review tab from the Banking menu. Doing so will help you ensure the accuracy of your financial records.

Hello. Thank you for being generous with your time and prompt with your reply. I've attached a screenshot of where it gets stuck. Additionally, I've tried syncing from my phone, deleting my cache/cookies, and it still persists.

 

Rather than uploading transactions manually, how can we resolve this? Thank you!

Sorry, something went wrong. Please go to the banking page and click update if transactions are not present.

Same here!

We have 5 accounts that haven't updated since 11/18/2021. This is the first time I've seen this occur.

Unfortunately, support is closed for the day, and according to status.quickbooks.intuit.com, all systems are functional. Hopefully a member of their IT support see these posts, as you're not the first to post about this.

** NOTE: Opening QBO in an incognito window did not help. Also tried updating the accounts in the QBO Android App (latest version), and still no update.

QBO Engineers have fixed this issue! Everyone log out, log back in, and update those accounts! :)

UPDATE:

Well...it WAS working 7 hours ago when the issue was said to be fixed. Now, the issue has returned. Unfortunately, QBO engineers will need to re-evaluate this matter and ensure a permanent fix, as we are nearing the holidays and month-end.

 

Any QBO Support staff that see these threads, please ensure this case is opened once again, with high urgency.

My US Bank accounts have not been able to sync since 10/7/2021. I have tried all kinds of different things and been told that it's been fixed numerous times. Its not fixed. I cannot sync my accounts. When I connect the bank, it allows me to select all of the accounts I want to give access to (I select all at the bottom of the list) and then it starts to do it and then brings up error 590. That being said, I have a different internet banking login that accesses other accounts at the same bank (US Bank) and that bank login works. It will sync those accounts just fine. The issue seems to be tied to the particular bank login. I have changed my internet banking username and password hoping that would fix it, but I still get the same error. It is not that the username and password is correct because it brings up the accounts in the window. It is after selecting access to all of the accounts that it doesn't work. I have even tried removing Intuit permissions at the bank site and reestablishing it through QuickBooks, but that doesn't work either.

Utilize the trial version of MT Online to isolate the issue. It is designed to import into any bank or credit card in QuickBooks Online, so there is no specific setting needed. If the same error persists, there is an ongoing problem at your bank or connection.
