Let me help your Wells Fargo transactions, jeff0352.

Please note that QuickBooks Online supports CSV, QFX, QBO, or OFX format only. If you're using a different file format, you'll want to consider converting it to the said formats. You can also check this article if you want to use Excel CSV files. That link will show you the different CSV template formats.

In addition, it's possible that you have filtered the transactions in the Banking page. You can click on the funnel icon to set the correct dates.

I understand how to import transactions. The issue is that when I follow the procedures, no transctions are imported.

Hello, @jeff0352.

I appreciate you getting back in the thread. I can help figure out why you're unable to import any transactions into QuickBooks Online.

You'll need to check the following before attempting to import:

  • Incorrect mapping
  • Formatting

The mapping stage is an important factor to ensure QuickBooks will be able to read the data. If the mapping isn't right, you will have issues when processing the import. Same with formatting, since not all banks create their CSV files the same way, you may have to make extra changes. You can check this guide for more details: Common errors for importing bank transactions using CSV.

If you have Money Out transactions only when using the CSV file, this may also give you an issue when uploading the file. You can check the workaround provided in the guide to fix this.

However, if you still can't import after checking everything, I'd suggest reaching out to our Online Support. They can access your account in a secure environment and investigate the issue further.

In case you want to import mass transactions, you can check out this related article: Import bank transactions in batches.

I'll be sure to get back to you if you have other questions. Take care and have a good one.
