I had my credit card connected to QB online. The connection was lost. I can't reconnect because it says the security answers are incorrect. I've reset them and still no.

Another option is to download your credit card transaction in CSV file and import to QBO.

I'd like to help in reconnecting your credit card account to QuickBooks.

 

First, we can try logging into the bank's website if there are any notifications or alerts that needs to taken into account first. Then, update your password for your bank account to re-establish the connection. 

 

If we haven't tried it yet, follow these steps to reconnect the account using the bank's URL:

 

  1. Go to your bank's website and log in to your account. 
  2. Copy the URL.
  3. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  4. Click Transactions on the left panel. Then, select + Link account.
  5. Paste the bank's URL in the search field.
  6. Enter the required details. Then, click Connect.

If the same thing happens, you can use a Web Connect file to import your bank transactions, as suggested by Anthony Accounting Support Center. You can use this as an alternative to bring your transactions in QBO. You can refer to this article for more information: How to Upload More Than 90 Days of Bank Transactions.

Thank you.  I tried all this but it keeps asking for my security questions.  I've reset my password and security questions on my bank website but I still keep getting errors.  It was all setup so I'm not sure why it won't connect now.  I'll try the manual import.
