For now, importing accounts isn't part of the format, Ellen1332.
We use the CSV file to upload transactions from the bank feed. It has two formats which are the 3-column and 4-column formats.
The 3-column format. This format has a Date, Description, and Amount column.
The 4-column format. This format has a Date, Description, Credit, and Debit column.
As we can see, accounts are not included in the two formats. Thus, we're unable to import accounts together the credit card transactions. Still, I'd like to clarify if you have manually imported or linked your credit card account in QuickBooks.
Also, if you mean to upload or put the transactions in a specific account in QuickBooks, select the QuickBooks account dropdown arrow during the import process. I'll show you how:
On the other hand, if these are categorized transactions, we can undo and exclude them. Then, re-import. We can visit this link for more details: Unmatch downloaded bank transactions or move them to another account. From there, we'll learn how we can correct imported transactions account by manually moving downloaded transactions to another account.
