I'll make sure you can check the transactions for review and share some details about it, @justwickinaround.
There might be details from that payment that needs to be reviewed. The email we sent to you gives specific steps on how to get it sorted out. There are times that we'll ask for more info so we can complete our review.
Usually, we can complete the review within five business days for new accounts. Within that period, we set up your merchant account. This could be the reason you're unable to receive an email for the payment. To learn more about this process, check out this article: Find Out When QuickBooks Payments Deposits Your Money.
After we review the payment, it will automatically deposit into your bank account.
In your case, I suggest logging into your Merchant account to see more details about the payment status. Here's how:
Aside from that, you can contact our QuickBooks Payments support if your account isn't new. They can look at your Merchant account and give you more details about the transaction status and when will the payments get deposited into your bank. Here's how:
Let me share an article with you for additional details and guidance for other future transactions that you might get:

If you paid for an item but never received it, or it arrived damaged, you may be frustrated and want your money back, justifiably. As a result, you may try to dispute it with your credit card issuer through the process of a chargeback.

I had the same thing happen, I am honestly pissed at qb as well fir saying the check the people who are selling stuff but don’t actually do so considering I’m apparently not the first person with this problem, I should sue for false advertisement, matter of fact I probably will if I don’t get my money back for the stuff I paid for through quick books website.
This is the most insane thing that I had ever to do in modern software. QB holding my payment of 20k that I desperately need for my business and telling me nothing except check your email that never received. This is beyond unacceptable, I can’t believe QB is still in business. There is no email received people, I’m shouting this out loud, can’t you hear me?

Whoever wrote this QB software should have thought that maybe people didn’t receive the email and provide some ways to resolve in the software itself / ask for additional verification right there and then if you are worried about security but I have been running around calling my bank calling my client wondering what the hell is going on and then finally discovering the message in qbonline that money is in review check email, the most insane message ever because there is no stupid email, I even called my ISP and fought with them telling them I have an extremely important email that they must have deleted somehow. Please fix the problem qb or I’m out with no ever return .
I'm having the same problem, with a much smaller amount. "Payment is in Review." By whom? Why? If there is an actionable item I'm supposed to perform, I should be told, and not by an invisible email I never received.
Thanks for joining this thread, flatearthdesigns.
I'm here to help point you in the right direction for more info about the "Payment in Review" message you received in your QuickBooks Online account.
Since you didn't receive an email as mentioned in the notification, I recommend reaching out to the QuickBooks Online Support Team for further info. An agent will be able to gather the necessary details to take a closer look at your account. Once they access your account on their side, they'll be able to relay the specifics about what payment is in review and why so you can move forward accordingly.
Here's how to get in touch with the team:
1. Click the Help button in the top right corner.
2. Select Contact Us.
3. Enter Support in the field and choose Let's talk.
4. From here you can select to receive a callback at a time that's convenient for you, or begin a live chat session with an agent.
The following article provides these steps if you ever need them again in the future: QuickBooks Online Support
Please feel free to reach back out if you have any other questions or concerns. I'll be here to help in any way that I can.
I have the same problem can any one help
what does the fee mean and who pays it me or my custumer
It's good to know, that it's been a year since this thread was opened and still no resolve.
I just got the Check Your Email with the invisible mystery email. It wouldn't be a big deal if quickbooks wasn't HOLDING my money. This is unprofessional to still have broken instructions on a financial website.
