I've got your back in sorting this out, @lucallen. I'll make sure you're able to view your transactions list in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).
You'll first have to make sure you've filtered the appropriate transactions' Type, Account, Date, Category, and Tags (optional). This way, you're able to show the transactions you want to view from the Transactions menu. Please see the screenshot below for your reference.
However, if the issue persists, I'd recommend performing some troubleshooting steps to help isolate this matter. This display error can sometimes be caused by the browser's overtime collection of data from frequent page visits.
You can start by pulling up your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) account using a private browser (incognito). Here's how:
Once signed in, go to the Transactions menu to view your transactions.
If you're able to do so, return to your default browser and clear its cache (the linked article also works for QBSE). This will refresh the system and remove older data that causes viewing and performances issue. However, if this matter continues, I'd recommend using other supported browsers.
Then, once you're able to view your transactions, you'll have to categorize them accordingly. This way, you're able to put them on the correct line of your Schedule C form.
In case you have other banking concerns and questions about managing your self-employed transactions in QBSE, please don't hesitate to drop a comment below. I'll gladly help. Take care always, @lucallen.
I appreciate the help. I tried a private browser and they still don't show up. I've searched for the transactions by using filters and going through every transaction with no filters. This is my most commonly used card (multiple times/week) and it doesn't appear anywhere. I've set up a rule to apply it to a category and it doesn't affect that category. It's like they're not syncing to QBSE except when I try to import them, it says they're duplicates.
As you can imagine, this is quite frustrating since more than 50% of my business expenses are through this account.
I figured it out. When I import the transactions and it says they're duplicates (even in private browser), I need to click "include all transactions" and then import them. This still doesn't fix the issue of transactions not importing as I spend, but I can at least get them applied to my schedule c
