I have an Epson es-500W and cannot get anything directly imported from its program. Is there a way to fix this or an app to use as interface?

Hello there, peninsulabevco.

We're unable to directly integrate Epson ES-500W to QuickBooks Online. Instead, you can look for an application in our Apps Center that can help you do this and transfer the data.

Here are the steps:

  1. You can either go to this link: https://apps.intuit.com/app/apps/home or click the Apps option in your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Select the Browse category drop-down list.
  3. Choose Sync data.

Please see sample screenshot below:

The Espon SmartScan has the QB online integrated. I was able to link the two together and import data, but all the sudden it stopped. Now the Epson SmartScan says "Script Error' about 10 times when I attempt to make the link. This is very frustrating.

I have a solution that you can try, maurycofire.

You'll get a script error when the software is damaged, and/or related data is incompatible. We can perform some basic troubleshooting steps to fix the error.

Let's open your account in an incognito or private browser. This mode doesn't store cache. You can use these keyboard shortcuts:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Option P

Next, try to import the data. If it works and you're not getting the script error, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. Clearing cache helps refresh the browser settings. Then, close and re-open your browser. Alternatively, try using a different supported browser

If you're getting the same result, I recommend contacting the Epson support. They can help you with the configuration.

I'm always around if you have more questions for QuickBooks Online. Thanks.
