I have an error message that my reconcile balance is off by $1448.84 which looks like two different checks that were deleted due to double entry. How do I fix this?

In QuickBooks, you'll get a message before you start reconciling if anyone has made a change that affects your beginning balance. If you receive this alert, you can click on the We can help you fix it link to access your discrepancy report. Take your time to review the report in detail and consider whether any adjustments are necessary to ensure the accuracy of your records.

When you open the discrepancy report, review the previously reconciled transactions and compare them with your bank statements. If the deleted checks were reconciled from the previous period, you may need to redo your reconciliation.
