I have eBay connector, but the transactions are not syncing to Quickbooks online. How do I sync?

Which eBay connector do you have? Many free eBay connectors are not reliable. You should consider having a paid connector instead.

I have eBay connector, but the transactions are not syncing to Quickbooks online. How do I sync?

It's good to know that your QuickBooks Mobile is already set, LABiker. Let's now connect your eBay account to QuickBooks Online (QBO) so you can view your transactions and categorize them accordingly.

To connect your eBay account to QuickBooks, we need to connect it from your QBO web, then navigate to the Apps Transactions and follow the onscreen process. After this, your transactions will be downloaded and reviewed within the For Review tab. Rest assured that transactions will sync automatically with your QuickBooks Online Mobile app.

When importing or downloading your transactions to QBO, please know you can import your transactions if they are 90 days old. On the other hand, you need to manually import your transactions in QBO if it's more than 90 days.

Kindly follow these steps:

Step 1: Connect your eBay account to QuickBooks Online (QBO)

  1. From your browser, log in to your QBO account.
  2. Go to your Transactions menu, then choose App Transactions.
  3. Find eBay Connector, then click Connect free app.
  4. Under the Connect sales channel window, choose either Yes or No.
  5. Click Next, then press Next again.
  6. Select in which channel you want to connect, then click Next.
  7. Choose a date in the dropdown in how far back you want to bring data from eBay, then click Continue.
  8. Click Agree if you allow QuickBooks to get information from eBay.
  9. Choose your country from the dropdown, then select Connect.
  10. Enter your eBay login credentials to connect it to QBO. After connecting, click Check it out to be routed to the App Transactions tab.

Step 2: Review your eBay transactions in the QBO web

If you want to review and categorize your transactions from your mobile device, skip this step and go to Step 3.

  1. Go to the Transactions menu, then choose App Transactions.
  2. Under the For Review tab, you'll see the lists of your transactions.
  3. You can click Add to include it in your books. You can also add transactions from the App Transactions tab and match them from the Banking tab.
  4. The added transaction will be in the Added/Matched column under the Reviewed tab.

Step 3: Review your eBay transactions in QBO mobile

  1. From the Menu ☰, select Transactions.
  2. Select the bank you want to work with.
  3. Choose the transaction you want to categorize.
  4. If you're using iOs, tap > under Add to QuickBooks.
  5. If you're using Android, press > under Category.
  6. Click Accept.
