Thank you for reaching out to the Community, @drmowers.
Certainly, I can help you with your concern about receiving emails claiming that your QuickBooks account has been updated and verifying whether it's a fraud or a glitch in QuickBooks Online.
Firstly, it's important to verify if the email you received is from a valid Intuit service email address. We take security very seriously and have a website where you can report phishing emails and other security issues.

If you have further concerns about the multiple emails you received. Feel free please reach out to us in the Community. Rest assured we'll get back to help anytime. Have a great day!
You're not alone. Reddit and other communities show the same.
It's an Intuit 'issue' and the extent to which this is an issue for us (as clients) isn't clear, bc of the support process here. Additionally, these Community messages are filtered by Intuit. I don't know about you, but I was having a hard time even posting to the Community Board, because there were (yesterday) additional 'glitches' occurring throughout their support site, as well.
You have clicked a link to a site outside of the QuickBooks or ProFile Communities. By clicking "Continue", you will leave the community and be taken to that site instead.
