Hi knox-becky!
Hope you're having a good day! Thanks for finding the transaction on your Banking page before posting here. I'll guide you to post it to the right account. But first, let's understand why it went to the wrong one, so this won't happen again.
The posting accounts of a transaction is based on the accounts you assigned to your items or the destination account you select. For example, on a bank deposit, the posting accounts are the bank account, where you deposit it, and the categories you chose. If you're depositing an invoice payment, the posting accounts are the Undeposited Funds and the bank register accounts. On a sales receipt, it's the Deposit to account and the item accounts. I've attached a screenshot for your reference.
To resolve this, simply open the transaction and change the deposit account, the category, or change assigned accounts of your items. That will do it.
I love tracing transactions, and I'd be happy to help you again if you need further assistance.
I figured out how to fix my problem from another response someone gave me. They just pointed me in the right direction for me to figure it out on my own. Your explanation, I don't believe, is addressing my problem either. Thanks for responding.
There is also the problem that I cannot respond to anyone who has addressed my problem without an error message. This is my third time trying to respond. My earlier response was much more detailed explaining how I solved my problem and why I believe it happened.

I do not accept your explanation as a solution.
