I'm here to help you address the missing bank transactions and guide you on how to import them into QuickBooks Online (QBO), @oceanairflow.
Many banks allow only up to 90 days (3 months) of transaction history to be imported when initially linking an account. This is a possible reason why transactions from May onward are visible, but those from January to May are missing.
As a workaround, please request a transaction history file from your bank covering the period from January to May. Ensure the file is in one of these formats: .CSV, .QBO, .OFX, or .QFX.
Once you have the file, you can manually import it into QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Please refer to this article for detailed information and steps: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.
Additionally, ensure to reconcile your accounts to keep them accurate and up-to-date.
Let us know if you have other concerns with your bank transactions in QBO. We're here to help you in any way we can.
It only goes back 3 months.
You have to manually upload Pre-May transaction using csv file.
