Hello there, @dlabrador1971.
I'll share information to remove data older than seven (7) years in QuickBooks.
Removing bulk data from previous years in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is unavailable. You can only manually delete them. Check this article for details: Void or delete transactions in QuickBooks Online.
However, as a workaround, you can utilize the Condense Data utility for QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) to remove selected transactions and convert the data file to QBO.
Since you've already migrated to QBO, you can purge your data first in QBO and start over. You can only do this process if your QBO account is less than 60 days old. If you've used QuickBooks for a while, you may need to create a new company. To better guide you with the process and the things you need to be careful about when doing the process, check out this article: Delete your data and start over in QuickBooks Online.
If you purge your QBO account, you can use the Condense Data utility for QBDT to remove the old data and ensure you have a Backup copy. Then, convert the condensed file to QBO.
I'll be leaving these articles for your future reference in managing transactions and reconciling accounts in QBO to make sure they match your bank and credit card statements:
Tag me in the comment section below if you have follow-up questions about managing prior transactions in QBO. I'll be around to help you.
