If all of a sudden one of my credit card banks stopped being linked. How do I load the transactions manually?

That's easy, userjanhvac.

I can walk you through how to manually import your bank transactions.

You'll just have to visit the bank's website and filter the date range of the transactions you'll want to export. Then, download it in a file format the system supports. If possible, select the QuickBooks Online data (QBO) format. These are formatted specifically for QuickBooks Online. You can also upload transactions from a CSV or Quicken (QFX) file. Save it somewhere on your desktop where you can easily locate it.

Then, follow these steps on how to import it into QuickBooks:

  1. Go to the Banking menu or Transactions menu. Then select the Banking tab.
  2. Select the blue tile for the credit card account you want to upload the transactions into.
  3. Click the Link account dropdown and then Upload from file.
  4. Select Browse and then select the file you downloaded from your bank. Then select Next.
  5. In the QuickBooks account dropdown, select the account you want to upload the transactions into. Then, Next.
  6. Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks and then click Next.
  7. Select the transactions you would like to import and Next. Click Yes.
  8. Once you're all set, select Let's go.

Once they're in your bank feeds, you can then add or match them to recorded transactions within the system. Also. feel free to check out the What to do if you get a bank error or can't download transactions link to troubleshoot banking issues.

Let me know if you have other questions. I'll be here to help. Have a great day!
