There are a few possible reasons why transactions are missing, jlowe3. I can help you find them so you can continue the reconciliation process.
The following information is the potential grounds for the misplaced entries:
- Some banks and credit card companies may not make transactions available for download until later in the day or the following morning.
- A transaction may appear on your bank's website but may not be available for download until it is posted.
- If the missing transactions are the most recent, please wait at least 24 hours, as some banks do not make them available immediately.
- Transactions may be visible on the For Review page but have not been categorized or matched.
- Transactions were manually reconciled in the register.
If those entries haven't synced, update your bank in QuickBooks to bring in the most recent ones. I'll show you how.
- Go to Transactions on the left navigation menu.
- On the Banking page, select the blue tile of the account, then Update.
You might also want to navigate around the Banking menu to check if the transactions are not stuck under the For review tab. If so, review and categorize them to appear on the bank register waiting to be reconciled.
