If Im missing 3 years of transactions? Refreshing bank connection doesn't resolve issue. Quickbooks says it was connected to my bank since 1/17/17. Where did it all go?

I appreciate you for manually updating your bank feeds, kataudio. 

 

What bank are we trying to get the transactions from so I can check if there are any similar issues. It's possible that the bank is having a maintenance that's why were unable to get the most recent transactions. I suggest reaching out to them to verify. 

 

Meantime, we can manually import the transaction using a CSV file format. We can visit the bank's website and download them from there. Once you have the file, here's how we can import them into QuickBooks:

  1. Go to the Gear icon, and then select Imports.
  2. Click Import older transactions on the right for the account you want the transactions to belong to.
  3. Follow the instructions onscreen to finish importing your data.
  4. Select Import.

You can also get in touch with us if there are no maintenance with your bank and we're still unable to download transactions.

This did not answer my question at all. The transactions used to be in my quickbooks. I had everything from 2017 through present and now it’s all gone except the last few months. Where are my transactions. If I’m expected to download and then upload my bank statements Im going to cancel my subscription. All my work is lost!

I appreciate you for clarifying your concern about your bank transactions in your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) account, kataudio.

 

I'll make sure you can retrieve your 3 years' worth of bank transactions. This way, you'll be able to get back to business in no time and keep track of your account.

 

Your QBSE transactions will not be lost unless it's deleted. It's possible that you've accidentally created an online account with different login credentials and accessed it. You'll have to use the correct User ID and Password to access the right account.

  1. Visit the QuickBooks Self-Employed website.
  2. Enter Email or user ID.
  3. Type in your password.
  4. Click Sign In.
