Let me show you the steps on how to find your categorized transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), @hlirwin6.

Once you connect your accounts to QuickBooks, your recent transactions download automatically. The program also categorizes them for you, then all you have to do is approve the work.

After categorizing, they will still show in the Transactions menu. If you're unable to find them, you can filter the drop-down list and easily locate them.

Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your QBSE account.
  2. Go to the Transactions menu and select the account under the Type drop-down list.
  3. Choose the bank account next to the Type drop-down menu, then filter the reporting period.

You should now see your categorized transactions. Just click them if you need to create some necessary changes.

Additionally, you can create and manage category rules to quickly categorize common expenses and income in QBSE.
