Is anyone else having any issues connecting their bank accounts to the system? Been having the issue for the past week.

When I go into banking and try to add account I get an error that says "Something's not right. Try again"

I hope you're doing well today, aramirez-ramirez.

May I know the name of the bank you are trying to connect? This way, I can check if there are any reported investigations about the error.

In the meantime, we can do some basic troubleshooting steps to check if this is caused by a corrupted file cache in your browser.

Let's open an incognito or private browser and sign in to your QuickBooks Online account. This mode prevents your browsing history from being stored. You can use the keyboard shortcuts below:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Option P

Then, go to the Banking page and try connecting your account. If you can connect the account with no problems, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. Please make sure to close and re-open your browser afterwards. Alternatively, try using a different supported browser.

If you're still getting the same error, you have the option to manually import your bank transactions. The step by step instructions are included in this article: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

To help match and categorize your downloaded transactions, you can read this guide: Categorize and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Please reach out to me again for any additional questions or concerns. I'll be right here to help you out. Take care and stay safe!
