Is it possible to upload a split transaction into QB online?

I have multiple single transactions with split values. Is it possible to upload these to Quickbooks online? if so what is the format for these transactions? TIA

Thanks for joining the Community, dfernando100-yah.

You can manually upload transactions if you want to enter old transactions, can't find your bank, or connect it with QuickBooks.

Initially, you'll need to pick a start date.

Here's how:

  1. Use the Gear icon, then go to Chart of accounts.
  2. Find an account you want to upload your transactions into.
  3. Click its View register option.
  4. Locate the oldest transaction and write down its date. Usually your oldest transaction will be the account's opening balance.

Next, you can get transactions from your bank:

  1. Sign in to their website and follow their instructions on how to download CSV files of transactions.
  2. Check the date range for your download. It should be at least one day before the date of your oldest transaction.
  3. Download the transactions. Save your file somewhere you can easily find it, like the computer's desktop.

Your bank may offer a few file formats. If possible, use QuickBooks Online data (QBO) format. These are formatted specifically for QuickBooks. You can also upload transactions from CSV or Quicken (QFX) files.

After downloading your file you'll need to review its format and size, then you can upload the transactions.

If there's any additional questions, I'm just a post away. Have a lovely Monday!
