Is there a reason why my Novo bank account no longer connects with Quickbooks as of 2 days ago, after it has been working fine for 7 months?

My account has been synced since June and has worked perfectly up until a few days ago. I'm no longer able to sync to the account and when I try to enter my credentials, I get the error message that "something must be wrong"

You may need to update your sign-in credentials or account information with Novo Bank, @userashley1. That's why you get an error message while connecting your account in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Let me share further details about this.

 

You'll have to establish a simultaneous connection between your financial institution and the QBO system. With this, you'll have to sign in to Novo Bank's website. This is to check your account page for messages or alerts that need your attention. Once you make changes on the website (i.e. login credentials and account info), you'll have to update QuickBooks as well. Here's how: 

  1. Go to the Banking or Transactions menu.
  2. Select  the blue tile for your credit card account.
  3. Click the Edit icon.
  4. Choose either Edit sign-in info or Edit account info.
  5. Enter all the necessary details and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

 

I've attached a screenshot below that shows the first four steps.

 

Once connected and all your recent transactions are downloaded, you'll have to review and/or match them to the existing entries in QuickBooks. Additionally, I'd recommend reconciling your bank account every month. This is to monitor your expenses and detect errors accordingly.
