Let's efficiently correct the categorization of your credit card charges to ensure your records are accurate, @bookkeeper107.

To ensure everything is recorded well, let's go ahead and open each transaction so we can carefully edit them one by one. I will guide you how.

For the downloaded transactions, here are the steps:

  1. Go to the Categorize tab.
  2. Select Undo.
  3. Click For Review tab, then tap Categorize or Match option.
  4. Choose the correct Account. Then click Add.

Here's the steps for manually created transactions:

  1. Select a specific account then click View/Edit.
  2. Hover your cursor under the Category option and tap it.
  3. Then Save and close.

Moreover, if your accountant has a QuickBooks Online accountant access, you can reach out to them so they can reclassify your transactions all at once.

Additionally, I'm providing this specific guide that outlines how to reconcile your accounts in QuickBooks, ensuring their alignment with your actual bank and credit card statements. You can access this resource here: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.
